When you buy an SRT, you get much more than just an amazing, world-class, high-performance vehicle. You become part of an exclusive group, a community that shares a unified passion for the brand. Just ask Charles Olsen, who recently returned from a tour of duty in Afghanistan, serving in the United States Army.

The 300 SRT owner was met with open arms and feted by members of the Space City LX Modern Mopar Club in Houston, who held a special "Meet and Greet" to welcome Olsen back home. Space City members sat down for dinner together and presented Olsen with a Space City club shirt of his very own.

An interview in front of Olsen's stunning Gloss Black 2012 300 SRT followed, with John "Johnny Bee" Chiboroski, President of Space City LX, working the microphone for an episode of the club's popular SCLX Street Talk segment.

Numerous photos were taken at the gathering, as club members showed off their SRT rides.

Earlier this year Olsen, who calls Rockport, Texas, home, was featured in an Owners Profile on driveSRT.com, sharing his passion for SRT and the 300 SRT.

Olsen dreamed about getting either a Grand Cherokee SRT or 300 SRT, enthusiastically selecting on the latter. While serving in Afghanistan, the soldier credits his passion and affinity for the SRT brand in helping him make it through some challenging days.

"When I heard the new models were coming out, I was deployed to Afghanistan. I worked through the hard times to one day own a Grand Cherokee SRT8 or a 300 SRT8."

Power, performance, luxury and an unmatched camaraderie with fellow owners are standard equipment when you purchase an SRT. Specialist Charles Olsen of the U.S. Army can attest to that.
