The wait to take digital delivery of the 2013 SRT Viper on Forza Motorsport 4 is nearly over. The all-American supercar will be available as free downloadable content from the Xbox Marketplace starting this Friday, June 22.

"We know Viper fans and owners are itching to get inside the car. Forza 4's new DLC pack allows them to do just that," said Steve Sharples, SRT Portfolio and Brand Manager. "Forza's version of the 2013 SRT Viper is an exact digital replica of the car, which should keep enthusiasts pleased until the production car hits the road later this year."

Digitally rendered to exacting specifications, the simulated 2013 SRT Viper GTS was generated from the same CAD data used for the actual car. SRT, in tandem with Turn 10 Studios went to great lengths ensuring the in-game version was as close to the street car as possible. Designers and engineers from SRT worked closely with Turn 10 Studios on the appearance and dynamics for the downloadable Viper. An extensive list of data points including curb weight, power, downforce and handling characteristics were provided to ensure absolute accuracy.

Fans interested in a fully immersive experience can take a tour of the new Viper inside and out via Forza's Autovista mode. Forza leaves no detail untouched as the newest Viper is explored inside and out in the game's all-encompassing experience. Gamers can hop in the driver's seat and fire up the monstrous powerplant to hear the unmistakable growl of the Viper's potent V-10. Apply the accelerator, and watch the tachometer sweep all the way to redline at 6400 RPM.

Experience the new 2013 SRT Viper by downloading the free content package on Forza 4 this Friday, June 22.
