2012 SRT Tour Kicks Off July 6th

Last year, four drivers, each armed with a new 2012 SRT, toured the United States with the sole mission of visiting local enthusiast clubs and showing off SRT's latest metal. Over the course of 13 weeks, the tour traveled over 18,000 miles, visited more than 20 states and stopped at over 40 local club events and cruise nights. On July 6th, the SRT Tour is back on the road for 2012.

Building on last year's successes, the team aims to visit a wide variety of venues, drive further and reach more enthusiasts than before. Ready to hit the road, the tour will depart from the Carlisle Chrysler Nationals in Pennsylvania. From there, the team will visit the east coast before heading to the Windy City.

Lead driver John "Hammer" Palazzolo is back for 2012 and excited to be behind the wheel. "SRT enthusiasts live a great lifestyle. The goal for 2012 SRT Tour is to celebrate that lifestyle with fantastic friends, incredible cars and great American roads," said John. "It gets better when you join us. We have more events planned that enthusiasts will have the opportunity to join us in."

John will be joined by three drivers all well acquainted with the SRT lifestyle. Rachel Miller, Jennifer Schneidau and Sean Yoder will all join in on the cross-country trek. Between club stops, the team is making plans to visit some of America's best roads, while stopping at a few of the country's irresistible roadside spectacles.

Follow the team's travels on the 2012 Tour page, on Facebook, or tweet them @SRTtour on Twitter. Fans can also tag their tour-related Instagram photos with #SRTtour. Be sure to wave if you see them on the road too.
