(Translated from German) Mayen / Wassenach. After the strong showing at the Red Bull Ring, the Mintgen Volcano-Racing Motorsport team is fielding a second Dodge Viper Coupe GT3 at Lausitzring as the last third of the 2011 FIA GT Championship season gets underway.

The second Dodge Viper Coupe GT3 will be piloted by two outspoken young talents; 26 year-old Christian Bebion (Sindelfingen) and Michael Christiensen (Denmark).

Bebion has been a successful driver in recent years, most recently with the Seat Leon Supercopa Team Cup in HRS.

The Däne Michael Christensen, 21 years-old, was recommended for the team by Peter Michael Mintgen, himself. Currently, Christensen also runs at the RSC in the Mosquito GP3 Series, and brings with him several years experience in both karting and formula racing cars. Driver and team boss Michael Mintgen, and team owner Manfred Sattler, evaluated both drivers and became convinced that they were a good addition to the Mintgen Volcano-Racing Motorsport team.

The other Mintgen Volcano-Racing Motorsport Dodge Viper Coupe GT3 continues to be piloted by Heiko Hammel (Wohlmutshausen) and Sascha Bert (Ober-Ramstadt).
