Sacramento, Calif. - Bad Boyzz Garage (BBG) in partnership with Dodge Motorsports announces a new contingency program available to teams participating in the Dodge Viper Cup (DVC) race series.

Since the beginning of Dodge Viper Cup’s 2011 race season the BBG Competition Clutch Kit has been the approved alternative for the ACR-X Viper’s harsh clutch demands. All DVC series teams that have or will be participating in at least four races this season are eligible for a newly launched BBG lightweight and high performance clutch kit.

BBG has developed the optional high performance clutch and flywheel kit specifically for the Dodge Viper ACR-X spec series race car. The clutch and flywheel kit join a uniquely designed header package dubbed the “Bad Boyzz Series” that comes standard equipment on the Viper ACR-X.

“Dodge Motorsports came to us looking for an alternative to the standard clutch system for these performance machines,” said Bad Boyzz Garage President, Toddy Gomez. “We developed this new clutch system which exceeds the performance levels mandated by Dodge for the Viper Cup series. We even painted the flywheel and clutch housing a unique Dodge color at their request – Plum Crazy Pearl – to stand out among the ACR-X oem pieces. We want to thank Dodge Motorsports for this opportunity and our partners at RAM Clutches for believing in our vision.”

“We appreciate the contingency support that Bad Boyzz Garage brings to the Dodge Viper Cup series,” said Gary Johnson, Road Racing Manager for Dodge Motorsports. “Our teams are always looking for that performance edge and these new clutch kits are so effective, we now require a 50-pound weight penalty for those running them to equalize the field.”

The Dodge Viper Cup series heads to College Station, Texas on September 2-4, competing at the high banked oval / road course at Texas World Speedway. The series is broadcast on the NBC Sports Network (formerly Versus). The next broadcast is Wednesday, October 5th at 4:30 PM.
