Titus Dittmann is regarded as the “Father of the German skateboarding scene,” according to various websites.
Dittmann 62 years old, a teacher, incorporated skateboarding into his sports lessons and brought boards over from the US for his students. He soon turned this activity into a profitable business, and his first name “Titus” became the trademark for the German skater community. He eventually gave up teaching altogether, and continued his “youth work” as an entrepreneur.
His hobbies include racing car driving, parachuting and building a skater school for youngsters in Afghanistan through his foundation Skate-Aid.
