along with a chance to interact with those "in the know." Throughout the SRT Tour, stops will be made at festivals, car shows, race tracks, dealerships and a host of other events. Pounding the pavement on the SRT Tour are the Challenger SRT, Charger SRT, Grand Cherokee SRT and 300 SRT.
Our squad of four SRT drivers will visit nearly 30 events and put in thousands of miles on the highways and byways of America. The 2013 SRT Viper will be a special guest at select times during the SRT Tour, visiting several locations for enthusiasts to get a look at the fifth generation of the iconic supercar. Keep up with all the happenings through the SRT social media channels.
John has been the ringleader of every SRT Tour and returns for 2013, bringing his combination of humor, social media skills and passion for the SRT brand. "I’m fueled by the ‘Oh wow’ responses when people experience an SRT for the first time," said Palazzolo. “Their expectations are blown away on so many levels: quality, refinement and obviously performance.” No stranger to the SRT community, John is in his seventh season on the SRT Track Experience, he appears on numerous SRT videos and broadcasts and co-drove the factory-backed Grand Cherokee SRT that won the 2012 One Lap of America.
Guests of the SRT Track Experience may recognize Jamie by her signature curly hair and welcoming smile. "Car people are the nicest people anywhere," says Jamie. "I’m new to the SRT Tour, but not to the cars or the people." The SRT Tour veterans are priming Jamie with plenty of advice for her first coast to coast road trip. Most of which is legitimate, but Jamie admits, “I’m totally expecting to be the butt of some pranks as we visit clubs across the country.”
Another SRT Tour veteran, Sean’s back for another season behind the wheel as we crisscross the country in search of great automotive stories to tell. “I was so amazed by how well we were received on last year’s SRT Tour,” Sean said. “Everyone we met was so inviting; we made lifelong friends from that trip.” Sean’s performance driving background includes autocross, road racing and even some circle track. He’s currently searching for a Magnum SRT to use as a daily driver.
Rachel’s father was deep in the car hobby and his love influenced her greatly. "Dad was always rebuilding something in the garage, giving it a wax job and taking it to shows," she said. "That leaves an impression on a girl." Rachel is back for her second SRT Tour and she’s ready to get on the road. “The SRT Tour is heading to a lot of new events this year and I’m excited to show off our cars to people who may not be familiar with them. They’ll be surprised.” Originally from Michigan, Rachel points to her right hand when asked where she calls home.
