We take the “R” in SRT very seriously. Each vehicle we make is ready and able to tackle a race track straight from the factory floor. We also build purpose-built race cars ready to take on the competition at a moment’s notice. The all new SRT Viper GTS-R makes its return to the American Le Mans Series (ALMS) this year. Look for our hot rod on the ALMS circuit later this summer. Returning for a third season, the SRT Viper Cup Series presented by Pennzoil Ultra pits Viper owners against one another in the race-ready Viper ACR-X. Viper and the other SRTs make their presence known in a number of racing series domestically and across the globe.
SRT engineering extends well beyond SRT’s own vehicles. It is a little known fact, but technical and operations support for many of the motorsports programs for the other Chrysler Group brands is provided by the astute team at SRT. Lessons learned on the track directly translate to improved vehicles for our fans. SRT Motorsports is expanding its racing presence this year.
