Racing for a cause at Targa Newfoundland.

Now in its tenth year, the 2011 Targa Newfoundland rally plays host to hundreds of high-performance vehicles from all corners of the globe. For seven days and nearly 1400 miles, drivers will traverse the scenic Atlantic coast of Newfoundland, Canada. The challenging route presents the opportunity for entrants to drive their sports vehicles in the manner for which they were engineered. The event also affords SRT the chance to test new Pirelli rubber and Pennzoil Ultra engine oil – both of which will be original equipment in the next Dodge Viper.

Aside from the high-speed action of the road rally, participants are racing for a cause. The event raises funds for the Autism Society of Newfoundland and Labrador, an organization that supports individuals and families affected by autism. SRT and Dodge Motorsports proudly enter the 2011 contest with a Viper ACR and a pair of Challenger SRT8s with the goal of raising no less than $50,000 for this important cause.
