I’ve always had a passion for fast and sexy cars. When the Neon SRT4 came out, I would buy every magazine that featured an SRT article.

I test drove a black SRT4 in 2005, but didn’t have the credit or a cosigner to buy one at the time. I didn’t let that get me down, though. Low and behold, six years later I found myself in desperate need of a new car. The local Toyota dealership had one stashed away for several months just waiting for the right person to come along – that person was me.

I pulled every possible string I could find to make it mine. Even after 10 weeks of owning the car, I’m still waiting for my carriage to turn into a pumpkin. The reality of it all still hasn’t sunk in, I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

First Mopar My first Mopar was my first car – a truck really – a 1995 Dodge Dakota. It was a 5-speed and I had no clue how to drive one. If I wanted to drive, I had to learn how to operate a manual.

Favorite stretch of road My favorite stretch of road is in Toomsboro, Georgia. A one mile straight and flat segment of GA Hwy 57, also known as Balls Ferry Straight.

Farthest traveled to meet a fellow car enthusiast When I lived in Virginia we were always on the road doing something car related. One time we drove 400 miles to buy a turbo off of eBay because gas at the time was cheaper than shipping.

Racing or cruising Just cruising for now; that is until I can afford drag radials and a high performance clutch. Plus, the ‘new’ hasn’t worn off yet, so I don’t want to put my SRT in any danger.

Online hangouts I frequent several SRT and Mopar Facebook and Twitter pages because of their convenience. I’m a college student, so I haven’t had any time to explore other SRT online platforms. My husband is the forum type though, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he had several SRT forum accounts.

Offline clubs I haven’t had my car very long, but there doesn’t seem to be much going on for SRT’s in this area. I’m the only SRT4 in the area that I know of. So as of now, I’m not yet part of any offline clubs.
