Last year, the world was introduced to the fifth-generation SRT® Viper at the New York International Auto Show in New York City. This year, SRT made another big splash as the SRT Viper Time Attack (TA) made its public debut at the world-renowned auto show.
The Time Attack is a spec package that offers the ultimate track-day car, with special attention paid to handling components and settings. The TA has lightweight matte-black Sidewinder II wheels that ride on very grippy Pirelli® P Zero Corsa tires. A factory-tuned race-ready two-mode Bilstein® suspension has been retuned for optimal on-track performance.
Aero enhancements made to the SRT Viper Time Attack include a carbon fiber rear deck lid spoiler and a two-piece front mini-splitter. That combination provides 278 pounds of added downforce at 150 mph. Carbon fiber is also found on the rear taillight surround.
Inside, the Viper TA features stitching accents with lightweight SRT Viper seats covered in ballistic fabric. Driver and passenger seats can also accommodate five- and six-point racing harnesses and racing belts. Data acquiring SRT Performance Pages found on the SRT Viper are also part of the interior package on the Time Attack.
Along with the SRT Viper TA, the full lineup of SRT vehicles including: SRT Viper, Challenger SRT, Charger SRT, Grand Cherokee SRT and 300 SRT are on display at the New York International Auto Show. Friendly and knowledgeable SRT Product Specialists are on-hand to answer questions on the entire family of SRT vehicles.
The New York Internationals Auto Show is open to the public from March 29–April 7 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center on 11th Avenue between 34th and 40th Streets.
