Crossfire SRT6 Technologies
Hand-built, supercharged and tuned for maximum performance, the Chrysler Crossfire SRT6 engine was conceived to impress drivers with usable power. Its 3.2-liter V6 produces 330 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque, enough to propel the car to 60 miles per hour in approximately five seconds. A water-to-air intercooler helps the engine breathe easy at any speed, with 90 percent of its peak torque available between 2300 and 6200 RPM.
Outstanding Ride, Handling and Capability
Light weight and a small footprint are the Crossfire SRT6’s best assets on a winding road. Suspension calibration engineers focused on creating a balanced vehicle by eliminating chassis understeer and ensuring exceptional straight-line stability at high speed.
Engineers achieved this objective by increasing the Coupe’s spring rates to 451 pounds per inch in front and 480 pounds per inch in the rear. Roadster spring rates are 431 pounds per inch in front and 491 pounds per inch in the rear -- over 100 pounds per inch stiffer than the base Crossfire coupe and roadster. The end result is a vehicle as confident on the Autobahn as it is on an isolated winding backroad.
Powerful brakes allow drivers to carve deeper corners, and the Crossfire SRT6 is equipped to assist. Four-wheel ventilated disc brakes with dual-piston calipers, front and rear, assure fade-free stopping power under a multitude of driving conditions.
Aggressive and Functional Exterior
The best way to identify a Crossfire SRT6 is by its tell-tale fixed rear spoiler, which works in conjunction with a front chin spoiler to maintain ideal downforce at all speeds. SRT-specific aluminum alloy wheels with a flat machined lip lend an additional sense of precision craftsmanship to enamored drivers and captivated onlookers alike.
Race-Inspired and High-Performance Interior
Step into the Crossfire SRT6, and you’re immediately welcomed by the promise of a 200-miles per hour speedometer. Thickly bolstered seats upholstered in Alcantara hold the driver and passenger firmly in place during spirited drives. Constrast stitching and special embedded SRT6 logos are upscale reminders that the Crossfire SRT6 is intricately crafted.
